A short film segment featuring my girlfriend and myself. Located at Janes Carousel in Brooklyn Dumbo, the stunning warm lit merry go around enclosed in a beautiful glass cage made the perfect cinematic shot that looked like it came right out of a k drama. Using the spinning motif of a conventional merry go around, I combined the CC cylinder and rotobrush tool in After Effects to mimic the illusion of rotation and to make it even more convincing I added a shadow with glow to represent the reflection of the text.

A weekend trip to an abandoned carpark in Williamsburg. Me and my friend spotted this little breakwater platform and decided to wait till sunset for a nice shot of the skyline. Using a typewriter effect combined with rotoscoping, glow and reflection properties to compose the overall kinetic text piece

Inspired by the iconic shot in La La Land where the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone dance under the light post against the night sky. Came across this beautiful sunset at battery park on a walk and had to record this moment. Using simple kinetic typewriter text effect and high saturation colour grading, the piece was elevated from a regular video to a cinematic piece.

From weekly sleepovers to yearly reunions, it's crazy how the relationships you once took for granted can turn into something so precious. This kinetic text video featuring hand drawn text with turbulent hand drawn effect applied in after effects is suppose to bring out the brotherhood and serve as a nostalgic remembrance of those Friday night sleepovers.

Inspired by Scenes from one of my favourite Animes and animation inspiration "Jujutsu Kaisen". This title sequence is supposed to be a remix on the iconic Shibuya incidence within the show. Modelling dynamic explosion in Maya with complex key framing in After Effects, I was able to achieve this perfect blend of realistic anime like simulation.

I wanted to captivate this idea of this magical world which we imagine ourselves living in, a world where anything is possible, a place where we feel free to dream big and explore.
